Ok so for someone that hates going past Nephi I was very proud of my husband for not freaking out when he had to drive his truck right into downtown Salt Lake City! Amazingly enough we made it to our hotel safe and sound!
After settling into our hotel rooms and enjoying the balcony view of temple square & the Salt Palace we headed off to dinner at the Skybox at the Gateway where we enjoyed the Jazz game and drinks, it was lots of fun, I think the Skybox is on the to-do list for next year.
As you can see Ashley & I made our own fun at the expo! You would never believe what we found at the fur booth, ok I guess you can see from the picture what exactly we found. I know what your thinking, you wish you could have gone to the expo, if you had only known there was going to be a hat made from a coyote, just what you've been looking for to finish off that wild animal look! And for your husband that fur lined jock strap, you know every husband would just LOVE that for a gift! Yeah that sweet hat I'm wearing was about $1,200 dollars I bet the owners of all these fine furs loved us poking fun at them!
Well we all got our fill of the expo and headed to Costco to pick up some groceries. And this is where the last few days caught up with the 4 of us, we had to stop and rest a spell in the recliners yeah we got a few stares but we were so tired and our feet hurt so bad we didn't care. I freaking love Costco, they have everything! I know, you can tell that we don't get out much. Those of you that live within 45 minutes of a Costco probably take how lucky you are for granted! It was tons of fun but we were all so glad to be back home and out of the city. The inversion was terrible and so was the traffic. It makes you more and more thankful for living in a small town!

SO three things:
ReplyDelete1- I think its so funny that Ross has never been to Cabela's (suprised since you guys are so outdoorsy)
2-Love the hats ;)
3-Don't rub it in that you live in a far better place than me!!
Love you blog!!
So cute!
